The responsibilities of the Finance Ministry are:


  • Develop annual church budget with the input of church leadership and ministries.

  • Monthly reports of finances presented to servant leadership.

  • Give annual financial report to the congregation.

  • Work with other ministries on financial needs for projects.

  • Allocate funds for major maintenance and emergency expenses.

  • Adhere to county, state and federal government requirements.

  • Keep track of special accounts.

  • Schedule annual accounting procedures and audit.

  • Team leader works with the treasurer to make deposits and pay bills weekly following service.  


    Time commitment:

    Finance Ministry meets once a month, the last Monday of each month.  Members are expected to help with responsibilities of the ministry.  



On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.
